To: schools with web pages
We are currently negotiating with a former volunteer for financial
compensation to continue creating and maintaining our school web page.
What is such individual paid in your school? What are the legal
responsibilities of such individual, i.e. checking links, handling
complaints, problems, potential cyber vandalism, etc.? Who is responsibile
for serving as a liason to the web master? How is the web master paid?
Is it a supplemental contract, per hour, a set price, what? We would
like to compensate our web master but have no idea as to what is fair and
reasonable in a school setting. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
