GEN: problems with Encarta 97

We just got Encarta 97 at school and I can't seem to print from it.
Everything else prints on the attached HP deskjet 540, but this won't
print at all. I called both Encarta and HP and no one had any great
ideas. How about all of you? Any problems? Any ideas?
