Target: Elem.and MS - Favorite books (fwd)

Hello everyone,
        A sixth grade teacher (reading level 5-7) in our Middle School has to
purchase books for her reading program by the end of March and asked me to solicit 
your favorites and
especially any new titles that you would recommend in the following
genres,  Latin America, Ancient Egypt, Mysteries,and Canada. Please
