Target:elem. internet projects

Now that I finally (!) have access to the internet in my library (just
through a phone line on one computer right not - can't seem to get the
wiring for the T-1 line from the office to the library) I want to let my
students and teachers see what it can offer them. Does anyone have ideas
for projects, etc. that would be do-able with one computer and fixed
scheduling (no free time available). I'd appreciate any help you can give.
If I can show this is beneficial, maybe I could light some fires! TIA
