I came into the media center via a degree in biology and medical
technology. After nine years in a hospital, and eight years raising kids,
and a divorce, I found that I liked my volunteer job in the lower school
library where my kids went. I went back to school, commuted 100 miles one
way twice a week for three years to get my masters and worked in the lower
school as an assistant for four years, taught computer in the middle
school for three and now am headed to a large public school media center
this fall. I LOVE IT!
