Wow!!! I have been getting some wonderful responses about where you come
from and where you are going.....and some irate re-actions to my question
about worn-out teachers ;-) which is a comment I received, not something I
believe in. I am impressed with the effort and passion that media
specialists display, and I identified with many of your interests and
previous lives in other media.

I smiled at the comments about loving books, travelling so many miles to get
a degree, working with other majors first--such as English--or other
industries first--such as multimedia or television--and how you "just love
it". I smiled more to read how you get to work with all the students, all
the curricula, all the media, research and teach all sorts of things---
sounds like anything goes and an extremely creative job, or promotion, for you.

Today I received a most wonderful gift and wanted to share it with you. I
got an offer to become a media specialist at a local high school here! Now
I will be eagerly reading all of your postings to learn more how I can apply
all that I have experienced in the corporate world to the school's
information center. Thank you for educating me these past few weeks as I
worked to get this offer. I can hardly wait to start!
