Dear Planners, I work at an elementary school with 350-375 students in grades k-5. All of the classrooms have at least one mac and some still use the Apple IIe computers for drill and practice with MECC programs (yes, :-) they still have value and the kids still love to play them). A couple of the programs that we have found to meet our needs are: Broderbunds' "Myst", "The Writing Center", "StoryWeaver CD version","Think Tanks", any of the "Discus" interactive CD's (Mercer Mayer stories and Marc Brown's Arthur stories) are popular, many are bilingual. I must really have a summer noggin as I can't think of any other programs... Hope these help! Hopefully with a national plea you will get other sources,too.
