Yes, and I've mentioned to this list before the principal (or was it a
superintendent?) who won the outstanding administrator award at TLA one
year. In his speech, he said (to a huge audience of school librarians)
that he started out to be a librarian and quickly discovered that it was
too much work so he switched to administration! Of course, he got a roar
of approval!

Needless to say, *his* librarians got LOTS of support!
