GEN: opinions and experience with scanners

I have been researching and collecting bids for a color flatbed scanner for an
IBM-compatible multi-media center, and have narrowed my choices to basically
three. If you have had experience with any of these, I would appreciate hearing
the pros and cons from your personal experiences. My choices are:
        1. Plustek Optic Pro 4800P
        2. Microtek Scanmaker E6
        3. HP ScanJet 4P
It appears that I can get any of the three for pretty well below my budgeted
figure of $515. I will appreciate hearing from those with one of these scanners.
