Illinois certification standards

Dear Colleagues:

I am relocating to Champaign-Urbana next month.  Can any of you who are
library media specialists in IL let me know about the credentials that
are required?  Here is TX, one must have a teaching certificate and a
LMS endorsement.  In the Carolinas, one must have a Masters with no
requirement for a teaching certificate.

If you know anything about the certification requirements, please fill
me in.
