At ALA I saw something called Biblio Visuel, Inc. that might be of use. It's distributed in the US by OCLC, Forest Press, 1-800-848-5878. According to the blurb in the ALA conf. booklet: Biblio-Visuel is a Dewey-based classification system that uses the language of shapes, colors, and pictures to help children understand how their libraries are organized. I remember thinking that the posters, shelf labels, etc. looked really neat for an elementary school, but I wasn't sure they'd work in a middle school. Alice H.
