I think the best way (most certain) to transfer documents from IBM to MAC
is to make sure each user saves as "text" and then transfers.  Graphics are
best transferred as "tiff" documents.  Other formats can be successful IF
you know what word processing software/graphics programs the other person
has but "text" and "tiff" are generic formats that in all instances that I
know of, go from one to the other successfully regardless of software.
