Hello! I am hoping you all can help me! I am looking for a poem that celebrates babies/ toddlers. This poem can be humorous or serious. I have looked in "Index to Poetry for Children and young people" with no luck in finding that perfect poem. This is to be used for a program for 2 year olds to birth. Parents will be reading them. A picture book would also be suitable. One poem that I think of but am not sure of the title nor first line, is about a parent that talks about the washing and ironing can wait, but the child can not. The house may not be perfectly clean but the child is happy and content. Another one talks about peanut butter kisses. Any help would be appreciated! Please respond to me directly and I can post a hit if need warrents a hit.
