Query: Quotation

Friends:

I use a quotation on my VirtLib contents page: "You don't have to know
very much to begin with if you know your way to the [public] library." (I
drop the "public.") I used to know who said it, but have lost the name.
Can anyone help me out? I'd like to give credit where it's due.
