GEN: AV equipment life

Dear LMNetters,

Does anyone have statistics on the life of overheads, audiocassette
recorders, videocassette recorders, camcorders, and TVs?

Somewhere I know I have seen a chart which recommended when to plan to
replace equipment. I need this info for budget purposes, to make a case for
needing to replace old equipment.

Thanks-I know how busy a time this is!!
