Needed: Your Experiences/Ideas w/Accelerated Reader Making Own

Hello,

We have Accelerated Reader and would now like
to make up our own test questions for students
just beginning to read. We have some of the lower
test disks, but many are 1.7 or 1.5 reading level
and still too difficult.

Our LMC has quite a few easy readers we'd like to
turn into AR books.

I'd like to know if any of you have designed your
own test questions for this reading level and
your words of advice prior to our starting this.
