Dear LM_Netters,

I have a challenging question for you:  In the writing of a
date, for example, 3/6/1997, 3 refers to the month, 6 to the day
of the month, and 97 to the year.  What is the proper term for
the 19 portion of 1997?  Not century, for this is the 20th
century....
