Cheyenne Mountain School District, located at the foot of Pikes Peak in
southwest Colorado Springs, is still seeking a qualified library-media
specialist for its new school, Gold Camp Elementary, opening  in the
fall of 1997. Strong technology skills are a must.  Colorado endorsement or 
eligibility
is preferred.  The position will begin about the first of August (the
exact calendar has not yet been set).  Our district has one high school,
one junior high (grades 7 & 8), and soon-to-be six elementary schools
with a total enrollment of 3300.  A high value is placed on academic
excellence in this district where 92% of the graduates go on to college.
