LM_Netters,
Thanks for your responses concerning SSR. Sorry this is late, but
I'm still getting responses. The majority of responses indicated that SSR
can work in a high school setting if it is totally backed by administration.
Most held SSR for 15-30 minutes weekly or every other week rotating hours.
Those responding suggested that the time not be used for other activities
such as class meetings and that EVERYONE read including all staff and
students in all curriculum areas.
