TARGET: MIDDLE: Reading Month ideas

Dear Group,
        I am looking for good promotional ideas for reading
month in a middle school (grades 6-8).  Ideas for contests, or
activities will be appreciated.  I did check the archives but
only found info about elementary ideas and most of those did not
sound appropriate for older kids.
        I will post a hit next week of the ideas I receive.
