ELEM:quality state non-fiction

Our reading teacher is trying to put together a collection of well crafted,
high quality non-fiction pieces, arranged by state, to be read aloud to our
third graders, who are studying U.S. regions, for about 15 minutes. These
can also be passages from a larger work. She would welcome and appreciate
any suggestions you could give her. Thanks, George.
