Target: Heritage day books

We are planning a heritage day with lots of exhibits for our elementary
students.  To prepare them we would like to use some literature related to
the following exhibits: quilting, washing in a tub with a scrub board,
ironing with irons heated on a stove, churning butter, fried pies, making
sauerkraut, pitching horse shoes, mules and wagons, country music,
crocheting, the civil war, and spinning.  I know you will have lots of good
books to suggest.
