The following announcement has been approved by Peter Milbury.

The NASA Regional Teacher Resource Center at Georgian Court College in Lakewood
NJ will be hosting NASA Lunar Rock Certification Workshops on July 1 and July
2, 1997 in the college library.

In order to borrow (or even request) the lunar rock samples, you must be
certified by NASA. This is your chance!!

The workshops are open to certified educators (library media specialists,
teachers and administrators) only. We will be having two sessions each day,
but you need to attend only one session to be certified.

_There is NO CHARGE for this workshop!_

If anyone is interested or has any questions, please email me directly with
your snail mail address, and I will send you the information. (NJ Region C
libraries - you will be receiving this information from the Region C office
directly.)

Registration deadline is May 1, 1997. Only US Mail registrations (and Comet
for NJ regional cooperative member libraries) will be accepted. Registrations
will be done on a "first come, first served" basis. All registrations will be
acknowleged; if sessions close, you will be placed on a waiting list.

Hope to see you in July!

Barbara
