I found an excellent article on *us* in The High School Magazine,
March/April 1997, p.40-45, titled:

Lost on the Information Highway? use your local knowledge navigator!

It deals with the current technology and information overload, pointing
the reader in the direction of their school library media specialist.
Useful web sites are included, pointing to the Big Six Homepage and
book.  You might want to share this with your staff as I did.

This periodical is published by the National Assoc. of Secondary School
Pricipals, but the article is applicable to all.
