I removed the V. C. Andrews titles that I had when they were ratty
enough to earn weeding attention.  I didn't want to make an issue of
it.  I do have some King and feel that it is ok.  I will still defend
the library's right to have books that are considered to be valid
literature and yet not meet with everyone's acceptance.  I feel the
King books are overly violent in the newer ones.  Andrews deals with
issues of incest etc. that probably would get a lot of hassle in this
community.  They were not popular so that was an easy decision.  I
have books that deal with some very mature topics but I don't make a
big deal about them. King is so popular that I feel I have to have
some or be found terribly out of date.
