Summary MS works filenames

I requested help on deleting the filenames of recently used documents in MS
Works.  We needed to delete the names not the documents.  I received
suggestions as well as requests to pass on the information.  I did not
personally try all of the ideas but have had some teachers report success
with the following suggestions:

        set the number of past documents to show at zero in the setup
        try to access from a formatted disk; Works will tell you it is gone
and not show it anymore
        create a series of basically empty documents with better names,
replacing the previously
                listed ones
        copy documents from the hard drive to a disk, open them in Works,
creating different
                "current file listings"

Many people offered suggestions for removing actual files from the hard
drive or a disk but that was not our problem.  I thank everyone for their
suggestions and hope this posting will be seen by everyone who had similar
problems.
