Dear Virginia LM_Netters:

I am seeking a School Media Specialist postition for the 1997-1998  school
year.  I am most interested in the following counties:  Loudon,
Fairfax, and Albemarle.  I have lived in Virginia--Charlottesville
and NoVA for 10 years, and very much want to return.  Any
information, suggestions, etc. will be appreciated!  I've been
checking the Education section of the Washington Post.  Where else
should I look?

I am completing my requirements for N.Y. State Certification for
School Media Specialist at Syracuse University this May.  Prior to
starting the certification process, I had an M.L.S. and a Master of
Science in Systems Mgt.  My undergraduate degree is in flat surface
pattern design and art history.

How do I start the certification process for Virginia?  Is there
reciprocity between New York and Virginia?
