One of our teachers is giving the students "extra credit" if they produce
information received from the internet (apparently without regard to its
appropriateness, etc) as research for the annual term papers. Several
students are researching the Ku Klux Klan and it has been difficult to find
BALANCED information on the internet and the students are panicking about
the extra credit. Do you have any suggestions as to appropriate internet
sites reporting on the Ku Klux Klan in a balanced fashion for students in
grades 11/12?? I was thinking about searching newspaper archives, but so
far no luck. TIA Please respond directly hornet@spectra.net
