ELEM:TARGET: software related to curriculum

We have $2000 to spend on networkable software or CD-ROMS for our
elementary school.  I am looking for programs used in relation to
curricular areas, not keyboarding or reference.  Are there any really
good ones out there being used, especially for upper el??  I will post a
