(The database seems to go back to at least 1980!) I love it, and am grateful to that wonderful organization for making it freely available. Location: http://www.csmonitor.com/ Go to the Archives, from the main page. The following is from their "Search Help" file. **Dates OK, enough of techno-thriller writers. Let's suppose you're passionately interested in the Reagan years, and you want to do some searches by dates. The best way is to use the ED section of the story header. The search engine will recognize these forms: ED= , ED> , ED< , ED>=, and ED<=. Examples: Want to find articles from a specific date? Type ED=19821201 (returns all articles dated Dec. 1, 1982) This is one of my all time favorites!
