Thank you very much. I feel very honored at being accepted, and by the
many kind messages that I have received, publicly and privately.

I noticed some other familiar (LM_NET) names on the list. Congratulations
should also go out to:
Frances Jacobson, Carolyn Nickerson, Linda C. Joseph. Are there other
American Memory Fellows among our LM_NET members?

I was a very excited to learn that our (Brett Silva's and mine)
application had been accepted. Brett and I use the American memory
Collection a lot. We admire what LOC is doing to make our national
treasures available to the American people via the Web.  See:
