Elem: If you like Gary Paulson and you are only 9

Hi!
This week I started as a substitute media  specialist, filling in for
the remainder of the year.  A third grade teacher has a student who has
read all of Gary Paulsen and The Hobbit series and is looking for more
suggestions of books that are interesting but not too sophisticated.
