ELEM: 1/2 yr. position open, Galway, NY

Hi Group!!

        I mentioned to the group earlier in the school year that I was
expecting, and was hoping to take the beginning of next year off to be with
the baby, (due in July).  Well my leave request has been approved, and I am
looking for someone interested in a maternity leave position.
        Galway is in Saratoga County, New York.  We are a central school,
but the elementary and the jr./sr. high school are separated.  The position
is K-6 Library Media Specialist.  I have a combined flex/fixed schedule.  I
see Kindegarten and first grade on a regular basis, and the rest on an
as-needed-basis.  We are fully automated with (soon-to-switch-to) Athena.
We have 4 multimedia computers for student use, with a good probability of
two more next year.  Galway Central School is an innovative school with it's
eye on the future.  Technology is a very important issue at Galway, and so
good selling point for any candidate for any position here.  My principal
has asked me to send out a message to my connections before she opens the
search up to the papers.
