JOB OPENING - LIBRARY MEDIA SPECIALIST
Networked technology / Classified support staff

The Empire Union School District in the Central Valley of California has
an opening for a Library Media Specialist at Teel Middle School.
Located in the small town of Empire (adjacent to Modesto), Teel has
about 1100 students and a beautiful Library Media Center featuring 18
computer stations, 16 for students and two at the circulation desk. The
LMS position is supported by a full-time Library Technology Assistant.
A 16-station computer lab adjoins the LMC and is staffed by a full-time
Computer Lab Technician..  All computers are totally networked and
provide Internet access in addition to electronic catalog and databases.
   A very current and well-maintained collection of print materials
complements the electronic information.  Modesto is less than two hours
from San Francisco, Yosemite, and Sacramento.   Position is open until
filled.
