TARGET: Medical Based Novels...

We are starting a new "Academy" at our school, which will be a Health
Occupations Academy for students in grades 9-12.  The academy will be
integrated with all of the major subject areas (ie. English, Math, Science,
etc.).  I'm trying to find some good fiction books that have a
medical/health related theme that might work well for the english teachers.
Anyone out there have any suggestions?

On another note.  Do you already have some type of "Health Occupations
Academy" at your school, and happen to have access to two way video?  We
are trying to get a county grant which would give us the capability of two
way video and would like to do some group projects with other "Health
Occupations Academy's" around the country.
