Dear LM-Netters:

In my quest to find a company who offers Grammar Software for the secondary
level, I was directed to the following catalogs:

This book is very comprehensive.  Some things I'd recommend investigating are:

Grammar Mastery (American Language Academy)
Grammar (Gamco)
Parts of Speech (Gramco)
Markup (Research Design Assoc.)
Davidson and Associates is also in there.  Their "Word Attack Plus" program
looks excellent for vocabulary.

The above ESI catalog gives the grade levels, a review grade or comment for
each program, the types of computers each program serves, and the prices.

The materials ranges from easy to very challenging, depending upon the
students the school wants to reach.  And, of course, sometimes the selection
is one of trial and error.
