I just learned that Instructor Magazine has book reviews by theme After I said: Another approach to book reviews are the journals that group books by theme. _Booklinks_, _Web_, _Five Owls_, _Reading Teacher_, _Teaching K-8_, and _School Library Media Activities Monthly_ all provide theme lists of quality books. Judy Freeman wrote as follows: >Hi Joan-- >I noticed in your post on book review journals you mentioned Teaching Grade >K-8 (Carol Otis Hurst's column), but left out Instructor for which I've >written the themed Book Talk column every month over the past 5 years for >grades K-6. Hope you've seen it. >Judy Freeman-Librarian <bkwssf@aol.com> >Van Holten School >Bridgewater, NJ 08807 Joan Kimball (jkim@borg.com) Clinton, NY Hart's Hill Elementary School Library Clark Mills Road, Whitesboro, NY 13492
