Shelf List

Hello LM-Netters,

I am sure this issue has been discussed in the past, however since
switching to an online circulation system (and soon to automated card
catalog) I am wondering what advantage there is to keeping the "old shelf
list"  Pros and Cons? I am not keeping the "old card catalog!"

Several  media specialists are awaiting your replies!  Thanks in advance...
