During my librarian years I've kept track of selections to order during ongoing book reviewing by way of cards in multiple librarian settings where journals are shared and not always handy when needed again, and by way of lists whenever I was the sole librarian and could always backtrack to the Library Journal, NYTimes, Booklist, SLJ, Horn Book, and BCCB primarily if needed. The latter worked best for me when I was ordering monthly and could budget that way. I can backtrak to reviews more readily now with online sources but I can't seem to make a list system work well enough where orders are infrequent and budget planning vulnerable, especially since not everything will be available or most cost efficient from one jobber anyway. Would anyone like to share their systems and the settings in which they worked best. Many thanks! (Isn't the weeding project a kick...? Love this Listserv!)
