Help! My world history teacher wants to get his students reading books
(yea!), so I'm trying to put together a bibliography of a mix of historical
fiction and non-fiction books that his students could read. We're
basically looking for any good books with topics from ancient history to
the recent present, but not _American_ historical fiction.

I'm using my selection tools (and unfortunately realizing that my
collection is really lacking in these areas), but I'm sure many of you have
some absolutely wonderful (or at least mildly brilliant) suggestions,
either for individual titles or for already-prepared bibliographies.

Please send me your ideas, and I'll post a HIT soon (including the names of
the senders unless requested otherwise). As always, thanks for your help!!!
