Alberta Only: re: Ontario Teachers' Strike

Hello LM_Net people from Alberta:
        I am a teacher-librarian (an endangered species, perhaps, in Ontario!)
in the second week of a 126,000-teacher-strong "withdrawal of service".
        In yesterday's Toronto Sun newspaper, Michele Lnadsberg compared what
Premier Mike Harris is trying to do here in Ontario with what has
already happened in Alberta since Ralph Klein's education cuts.
        I am wondering if any teacher-librarians in Alberta could e-mail me
directly to indicate the kind of impact that Klein's cuts (and,
possibly, Mike Harris' in the future) have had on your jobs and
situations in your schools.
