Tech: CD-ROM tower that has never worked!

Dear Friends,
        I am in a new (for me) library this year (elementary to high school,
but that's a whole other message!). I have inherited a CD-ROM tower that
the previous librarian and our system's technology coordinator were
unable to operate. If you have had experience with a Todd Enterprises CD
tower 4 Plex (model TCDR 4050), I would love to talk to you. The only
thing available for me to consult is a trifold brochure, a tech support
number that has voice mail (no human contact yet ;(), and some hope!!!
