California: LM_NET & CALIBK12 Breakfast Time/Date

Dear LM_NET and CALIBK12 Colleagues,

Please note: We have now moved the LM_NET & CALIBK12 Breakfast to Friday,
so that we can have a larger room to hold more people. The LM_NET
Breakfast is NOW scheduled for 7:00-8:15 a.m. on FRIDAY, November 21.

This event is NOT mentioned in the conference bulletin, so please spread
the word. It is OK to make reservations for colleagues who you would like
to come along with you so they can find out more about LM_NET & CALIBK12.

We still have the Saturday get-together scheduled for 8:00 a.m. (See
below.  Unfortunately, no food on Saturday!)

We have two sponsors for the LM_NET & CALIBK12 Breakfast at CSLA, so we will
be sure to have some nice treats for those who like to get up early and
socialize. The sponsors are Linworth Publishing (Book Talk, Big Six
Newsletter, Technology Connection, etc. and many books.; and ABC-Clio Book
and CD-ROM Publisher.)

Bob Laramee is handling all reservations. Attendance is now available for
150+ people, due to the new room availability at the hotel.

The annual conference of the California School Library Association is in
Pasadena, California, November 19-22.

There will STILL be an 8:00 a.m. session on Saturday, as mentioned earlier
and scheduled in the conference bulletin. We will have a special panel
discussion on how writers/authors make use of LM_NET and CALIBK12 in their
writing with guest authors on our panel. Thus far, we have Lesley Farmer
and Christine Allen scheduled to be on the panel, and at least one other
is expected.
