Colleagues, I am trying to help a teacher of gifted elementary (K-5) students find some information. She needs info on the following: 1. Criteria that schools use to identify gifted students. 2. Rubrics that are used in math or language arts to grade students' progress. These are brief descriptions related to an assignment that would describe what a poor product would look like and build up to what an excellent product would look like. I know that these rubrics, by their nature, have to be specific to a project. However, if anyone has copies of any rubrics that are used, we would appreciate having a copy. I appreciate any information that you can give me on these topics.
