Sorry this took so long. Someday I will teach this computer to do what I want it to do not what some unknown programmer thinks I should want to do. I think I had as many requests for the hit list as I did titles for the list. I'm sure that this list is not complete and I am concentrating on those books that are likely to be in my library (a 49 year old K-5). Feel free to post the titles that have been left out as there seems to be lots of interest. Some of these titles are the movie titles and some are the book titles. Some are just the key words of a title. If I am lucky the book and the movie have the same title. I have students practice their library skills by looking up the title or the key words in the card catalog and then write down the author's last name if we have the book and they can find it. Some recognized the book from the key words or the movie title even if it was different. 1000 Leagues Under the Sea Alice's Adventures in Wonderland Anderson's Fairy Tales Anne of Green Gables Arthur of the Ducks Babe the Gallant Pig Balto Beauty and the Beast Beethoven 2 BFG Black Beauty Black Cauldron Black Stallion Bridge to Teribithia Caddy Woodlawn Call of the Wild Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Charlotte's Web Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Cinderella Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court Cricket in Times Square Curious George The Diary of Anne Frank Escape to Witch Mountain From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E.
