HS librarians and gifted programs

Hello,

An administrator approached me this morning musing about running some sort
of gifted program in our high school (gr 8 - 12, 550 students) through the
library (i.e. me).

Is anyone doing anything like this? If so, what do you do and how?
Words of wisdom of any sort would be appreciated.
