We are purchasing a reading program for our Kindergarten students (Breakthrough). The company ships 3 headphones with the package (one per computer). Each classroom has 3 computers through which the children will rotate. The students will let the others know to come to the computer for their turn so the teacher will continue working with the other students in the classroom as the kids rotate. The sites we visited in a city near us said they had not yet had any problems with sharing headphones. I kinda cringed as I saw kids doing this. Headphones could not be purchased by students as we are a very poor area so the school district will have to absorb individual headphone costs. I would appreciate knowing what others are doing. I would also appreciate knowing how others are handling microphone use by students. Any experience with multimedia keyboards.
