MID: 6th Grade Egypt Units

Have any of you worked up an Egyptian unit with 6th grade teachers? I
would really like to do something different this year instead of sending
all the books on Egypt to her classroom. This teacher does not want the
students checking out any of the books. She wants them to use them
solely in her room to work on their reports. I know you all have some
good ideas.  TIA Pam
