Our school resource teacher is having girl scouts and other adults record books - both text and trade for a child who has very, very poor reading skills but who learns auditorily. When they asked for a blank cassette and explained its use, it occurred to me there might be copyright violations. I don't think anyone intends keeping these tapes. Was I right to suggest there might be violations, or should I have just let it go. We have inquired about the NYC organization which records books and there is about a 2 year wait. Most of what they want to record is not available as recorded books.
