MID: AUTOMATION

Dear LM Netters,
My principal is finally willing to consider automating our library, but I
need to write a convincing proprosal for our newly formed budget committee.
 My main reasons for wanting the system are to be able to circulate more
books faster and more accurately, and to help students research our own
inventory for their papers and projects more effectively.  What am I
forgetting???
I'm under a real time crunch, so all advice would be greatly appreciated.
